The Gun Lake Ski Club is only 10 minutes from the town of Gold Bridge, and there you can find just about anything you may have forgotten. From a gas station to a grocery and liquor store, from a hotel to the summer ice cream stand (which makes the best hamburgers in the world) Gold Bridge can supply your needs.

The history of the gold rush is more than evident in the area. Here you can immerse yourself in the past with visits to museums; explore old mining sites; or even pan for gold. If that doesn't interest you, there are always 9 holes of golf at the local Gold Bridge Golf Club. It may not have the most luxurious fairways or the most well tended greens, but as is evidenced by their tag line: "The Best Golf Course By A Dam Site" it will still elicit an amusing round.

The sports and outdoor adventure seeker need have no fear of boredom. There are more than enough activities to keep you occupied, season after season.



Spring & Summer


Canoe, Kayak, Swim, Windsurf, Water-ski, Horseback Ride, Fish, Hunt, Mountain Bike, Off-road 4x4, or simply hike through any of the miles of trails, to a well-deserved picnic in the fresh mountain air. For the serious enthusiasts there are fly-in fishing and hiking trips, which will pick you up right from the dock.

Ice fish, Snowshoe, Cross-country Ski and, of course, Snowmobile. With endless miles of trails, through spectacular mountains and across frozen lakes, and easy rides to alpine areas.
